In Contraluz we care of both the technical and artistic side of each production. The idea is designing a logical and stable workflow before starting and then forget about it and focus on the important thing: enhance every shot picture.
Luis Ochoa, Senior DI Colorist, is the main colorist of Contraluz.
Luis Ochoa is colorist and workflow designer, specialized in 4K HDR. From 2015 he works as international grader for features, prime time TV series and commercials.
His professional experience as director of photography and film editor has given him a global vision of the entire technical process of audiovisual creation, that is used for the workflow design. He posses the Avid ACI (Certified Instructor) and Sony ICE (Indeoendent Certified Expert) certifications and collaborates with companies like Arri, Sony, Canon, Panasonic, SGO, Filmlight or Blackmagic. Is expert in Sony and Canon HDR monitors.
From 2010 Luis directs 709 Media Room, a media project focused on color and digital cinema, giving training to companies such Warner Spain, Mediaset, Spain National Television, Telefonina Movistar +, El Ranchito, Boomerang TV, Europa Press or Catalonian Film Archive.
Elena Humanes works as colorist and editor. She has been titled as colorist in several TV series, features, and shows such as “Cuéntame cómo pasó”, “Los sueños de Idomeni”, “Ochéntame otra vez”, “Granjero busca esposa”, “Cintora a pie de calle” or “La Hermandad”. She is very proficiency at Filmlight Baselight and Blackmagic DaVinci Resolve.
